BMPD

BMPD (Blue Monkey Professional Development) was established in 2007 by Judith Alder and Roz Cran from Blue Monkey Studio, Eastbourne. BMPD organises professional development and networking events for artists. Past events have been arranged both independently and in partnership with The Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne.

BMPD Co-organisers Roz Cran and Judith Alder are practising artists who work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of projects. They met as students on the BA Hons Fine Art Printmaking course at the University of Brighton, both graduating in 2003. Roz did an MA Printmaking at the Royal College of Art and Judith embarked on an independent, mainly studio-based practice and co-founded Blue Monkey Studio with three other Brighton graduates. Roz joined Blue Monkey Studio in 2006.
